SVT Live Chat is AJAX based live chat module for Joomla. It uses advance chat technology which is based on, uses and inspired from following

Special attention is paid to the security aspect (AJAX Shoutbox has some security issues).

Beta version is fully functional and allows any two registered users to chat with each other and offered free. Multiple private chat rooms are allowed. You can see demo version at http://demo.svtechie.com.

Full version is in development and offers following features

• Improved performance - reduce MySQL load by 60%.
• Allowed public room - work as shoutbox
• Allowed visitors to talk to Admin.
• Native Joomla 1.5.x version
  

JoomlaPDT is aimed as standalone Joomla Installation for debug & development purposes. It is integrated with Eclipse PDT IDE and WampServer.

• This is still beta release so please install at c:\wamp only
• Everything else is working out of box
• Joomla! & WampServer are up without any configuration requirement
• Java VM is required to run Eclipse PDT

After installation, run wampserver & Joomla can be accessed at http://localhost/Joomla.

For Debug, launch start PDT or Eclipse, Joomla Project is built-in. Right click on index.php in the file list and "run as->php script", and Joomla page will be loaded inside Eclipse. Joomla! components and modules can be debugged during development!
