I was able to successfully install the files.

com_blogsidebar2.4.zip
mod_blogcal1.6.zip
mod_sidebar.zip

When I select the blog component in the Main Menu, I get the mamblog displayed just fine. However, the Blog Sidebar shows the calendar followed by the Heading for the Blog Roll after which the following error message is displayed:

"Invalid query: Whole query: SELECT id FROM #__categories WHERE section="com_weblinks" AND title="blogroll" "

I suspect I have mis-configured Blog Sidebar somehow, but I've been unable to figure out what I have done wrong.

I will unpublish Blog Sidebar and await your answer. However, I am really looking forward to having it active on my blog.

No/Few people seem to be discussing the SQL errors which seem to be pretty common. I wonder if it is related to Joomla 1.0.12?

My own MySQL is V.4.0.26. Could that be the problem with Blogroll?

Try to create a weblink category due to your settings and them, populate it, create a weblink entry.

It worker to me...
