Site was down for couple of hours on Apr 27, 2006. Issue was again due to misconfiguration at Dreamhost server (Hosting provider of http:www.svtechie.com).
As mentioned before, Dreamhost failure rate has suddenly increased. It used be very good before. Probably they are not able to scale there servers with increasing customer base. I like DreamHost a lot, but they have to improve.
Meanwhile, thank you very much for your support. Stay tuned for updates.

High-flying PortalPlayer Inc. late Wednesday (April 19) said that it has been
dealt a major setback at Apple Computer Inc., which is apparently switching
media processor chip vendors in its iPod lines.
PortalPlayer (San Jose) generates over 90 percent of its sales
from Apple’s iPod; it makes the media processor for the MP3. But PortalPlayer
said that it has recently been advised that the follow-on to its PP5021 media
processor chip has not been selected by Apple for use in its new mid-range and
high-end flash-based iPods.
PortalPlayer's Stock has lost more than 40% value in single day. Even PortalPlayer Suppliers like LSI Logic have also suffered major setback. (LSI Logic has lostmore than 10% value)
In today's electronics reality, where time-to-market and cost (not to mention
the fickle and fleeting tastes of consumers) are governing factors, any company
with so many eggs in one basket had best protect that basket at all costs.

The ability to realize high performance hardware,
directly from a C language description has been a dream for a long time. EDA
companies/researchers have been investigating how to accomplish this for over
20 years and there is no end in sight. Or is it? The technology already exists
but probably not used properly. As is the case for most of engineering, the
ability to reach a practical solution is much easier than a theoretical one,
where "universal" solutions are extremely difficult to reach. This is series of investigative articles,
presenting an in-depth research on high level synthesis, HLS, and how it can become
successful.
