Looks like, no political party has political will to oppose quota. After all, this is matter of vote bank. Blame is entirely on us, so called intellectual class. Why should they cater to our demands? When we even do not have decency of vote, when we are required to vote. Granted, nothing changes, but still!!
Though NDA deserves credit for not exploiting quota system during its rule.
Seeking to tread the middle
path ahead of the crucial Assembly elections early next year, the Opposition BJP
on Monday supported the OBC quota in higher educational institutions even as it
demanded that economically weaker sections of upper caste were included in the
benefits of reservation. Leader of Opposition and senior
party leader L K Advani had yesterday demanded setting up of a Specialist
Committee to study the impact of reservation and examine alternative remedies
for affirmative action which would not undermine merit or excellence.

This was expected.... I am big fan of AMD processors. For price vs performance, AMD has always been clear winner!
"The competitive environment has been more intense than we had planned for or
understood," said Kevin Rollins, Dell's chief executive, in a statement.
The disclosure, revealed in Dell’s first quarter results, indicated that the PC
giant would introduce new servers based on AMD’s Opteron line of 64-bit
processors by year’s end.

... system-level verification product and Virtio's virtual
prototyping technology will help move systems to market by giving software
developers the ability to begin code development earlier than with prevailing
methods.
Virtio is one of a handful of companies offering virtual platforms, one of
the few existing bridges between the worlds of hardware and software.
Technologists and industry observers have increasingly called for a tighter
collaboration between hardware and software.

Patents system has very noble purpose but is being used by patents mills/companies, in very abusive manner
Definitely patent grant procedure needs some improvement with credible filter mechanism, not just money.. Infact, fee should be lowered, after all it is portrayed as a public service!

A number of companies have been reviewing stock option granting procedures
recently in the wake of a March 18 article in the Wall Street Journal
that questioned whether some companies had been "backdating" stock option grants
to result in their issuance at the best possible time. The Journal's
analysis found a disproportionate number of cases where the companies examined
had issued stock options to employees just before a sharp rise in the company's
stock. The more a stock rises following the issuance of a stock option, the
greater the profit to the option holder. Read Full Article @ Altera to review stock option practices.
Too bad, I have never made any money from Stock Options. Only silver lining is that I am not affected by such inquiries
